The Pharoah’s Golden Parade took place last month in Cairo, Egypt on 3 April 2021, during which twenty-two mummies belonging to Kings and Queens of the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt were moved from the Egyptian Museum to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.
I love history and art so this was really an exemplary showing of some of the best that Egypt has to offer. Since moving to Egypt in 2016, I’ve had the opportunity to see these ancient artifacts up close. I’m really glad that so much effort of put into preserving them.
Every now and then, Egypt gets Pharaonic and you realize that the people still carry many of the ancient traditions through holidays and even food.
